Based in Yogyakarta, TUYULOVEME began developing his artistic practice as a Graffiti artist in 2006. Graffiti lettering became a starting point for TUYULOVEME, until in 2009 when he started introducing figures and distinct characters in his body of work. His unique characters frequently appear as a visual representation of his alter ego - an alternate self that hardly gets exposed in everyday life and lives vicariously through the artist’s creative journey. Through versatility in his practice, TUYULOVEME has been able to spread his artistry on walls and street corners of multiple cities in Indonesia, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Russia, Philippines and The United States. In over a decade of practice, TUYULOVEME has progressed to become a recognized graffiti artist with a number of involvements in national and international events and shows, as well as solo exhibitions in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018. Despite working in a vast variation of medium, TUYULOVEME has actively contributed to defend graffiti as an artistic discipline.
